“Karateka, professional boxer, combat martial artist – these are some of the titles afforded Jennifer “Super Jen” Santiago. A martial arts prodigy who earned her 5th degree black belt by the age of 15, she won numerous world championships in weapons, forms, and sparring throughout the 1990s with her lightning speed and precision striking. She rocketed to stardom in 2006 as a standout competitor and top point-scorer in the World Combat League kickboxing organization. Later, she moved on to boxing. Having already won two state Golden Gloves titles, she easily made the transition to professional bouts, where her huge combos and untouchable evasiveness led her to the UBF International Bantamweight Championship. Santiago fought her last professional bout to date in 2014 and at the time of this posting operates a fitness and kickboxing studio in New York.”
